The 4 Best Armenian Cooking & Lavash Classes

4 tours  ·  from $23 a head

Lavash goes on the inside wall of a clay tonir and comes off in about forty seconds, and there is no way to learn that from a book. These 4 classes are compared on how much you cook against how much you watch, and what you eat at the end.

“The sites were great but there was a lack of control over the group. We had English and Armenian groups combined and I dont think it worked for the verrry full tour. There was little knowledge sharing particularly about the symphony of stones, and the lavash masterclass was just watching some ladies make the bread without commentary for maybe 5 minutes and then trying some. A little disappointing that I didnt come away with more information but for the price, you get some great sites!”

“Nice day tour to see some of the most important land marks of Armenia. Because it being a off season the tour was bilingual. The guide Tigran handled it very well. He was a great tour guide overall. Driver Araik was also one of the safest drivers in Armenia I had during my visit which was great. Lavash baking is in a family run restaurant where you also have lunch together (paid by you) so suggest you order one of the options in the bus as there are no other lunch options close by. Lunch was nice family style served so recommend it. Sadly when I was on the tour…”
